Hi guys!!!
Been busy working on my birthday cards for January and February, so I can get ready for Valentine's Day.
Will be making Valentine's cards with the Seniors at the Center and I have a lot of cutting to do. They were so proud of the cards that they made in their first cardmaking class -- and we had sooooo much fun!!!! I will get their permission to post some of their cards here later.
The following are some of the Jan. and Feb. birthday cards.
Hope you enjoyed.
Thanks for stopping...bye!
Hi. Come on in. Have a seat. Take your shoes off and grab something cold to drink. Take your time, look around, and enjoy your stay. I am SO glad you came.

Two Thank You Cards on the Cricut
I told you guys earlier that I have challenged myself to make more cards using the Cricut. Today, I made two thank you cards using two cartridges - Everyday Pop-Up Cards and Art Philosophy.
Each card was made using components from each cartridge.
Hope you enjoyed!!!

Completed Anniversary Card
Wanted to let you guys know that on yesterday, I did an introductory cardmaking class at our Center with some elders. That is the most energetic group!!!! It was a riot, and we did not make any cards -- it was just an introduction. I really can't wait until next week, when we get to make cards. Hopefully, they will allow me to post some of their creations.
Now, here are the pics of the completed anniversary card.

2012
Good morning, guys. Since this is the start of a new year, like most, I'm making myself a new promise. I promise myself that I will try to post more often with the things that I make - getting a picture before the items get out of the door.
I am also challenging myself to bring my cardmaking to a new level this year -- by learning new techniques and playing more with the tools I have.
I am not the greatest with the pics and videos (working on that, too), but I am trying.
Today, I am working on an anniversary card for a special couple. They are celebrating 55 years of marriage. WOW!! You don't hear THAT too often these days.
I challenged myself to design the card on the Gypsy and cut it on the Cricut.
Here's the design on the Gypsy.
I will cut it and upload a pic when done.
Thanks for stopping...bye!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hello, everyone!!! Welcome to 2012!!
Just wanted to share with you some projects that were completed the end of the year and one that was completed today.
If you watched the video of this album, you will note that this is a different box. I did not like the way the black box fitted, so I made another one. I think this one is just as nice, with the fleur-de-lis medallion and tag.
The video also shows the card that was made to go with the box -- as usual, did not get a picture of it.
These are pics of my other babies that were taken at the end of December 2011.
Below is the video of the book.
Lastly, here is a pic of my azalea bush in the backyard, which was taken yesterday. Isn't she as beautiful as the roses!!!
Hope it wasn't too much at one time, and I hope you enjoyed the trip.

These tea roses were cut back (to just below the windowsill) at the end of October 2011 and have shot back up again. This pic was also taken at the end of December - along with the next one. |
