Card for granddaughter's other grandmother.  Do you see all the clutter on my desk??!!!  This is the normal and not the exception.  There is always a flurry of "mess" on the desk.

Sympathy card.

Crocheted mini hats that are used as hot pot lid holders.  These were given as Christmas gifts.

 Thank you cards made for a granddaughter.

Birthday gift for granddaughter.  Not sure you can clearly see the three rings.  They were ribboned together on a card and then put into the handmade gift bag.  These are soooo much fun.  I will now make all of my own gift bags.  Below this is her birthday card with handmade envelope.

Mini album that was made as a birthday gift for my brother-in-law.

Knitted and crocheted scarves.  We are making these at the Center.  One of my diva ladies has also learned to knit (she's in her late 70's) and she has knitted well over two dozens -- in different colors!!!

More crochet.  Pair of granny slippers for a granddaughter and face scrubs with pouch that were given as Christmas gifts.

New Year card made for my daughter to give to a special someone.

Ring that was made for me.  Kept it for about 20 seconds before it was whisked away.  Oh well, need to make another now.

Helmet cap that was crocheted for my granddaughter.  And there she is modeling it!!!!

And lastly, my new favorite passion - micro books for charms for my mini book albums; or that was the intention.  I can't seem to make these fast enough.  They disappear, literally.  One is even hanging on my hubby's mirror in his truck.

Latest projects

I know...I haven't posted in a while.  I have been extremely busy though.  Here are some pics of some of the things I have been working on.

Learning how to make rings with wire and beads.  Here's one of them.

Gardening - Easter lillies opened right around Easter.  Kumquats were full.  Finally got pears this year and was able to share with family.  Post pics at a later date.

Front and back of a can kozzie that was embroidered.

 My appliqued fleur-de-lis wall hanging.  This was an interesting piece to do.

Travel towels for the hubby and me for our vehicles.  They open up into full bath-sized towels.

A set of three "hot hat" lid covers for the lids of pots when hot on stove.  They can be hung on wall and taken down when needed.

Went to PPCC yesterday for crocheting classes with my senior ladies. Ms. Alexis has been extremely busy. Look at what she's been working on.

Lost Track of Time - Again!!!

Good morning, people.  I see just about three months have passed since I last posted -- AGAIN.  I'm sorry for the lapse, but I have been working on soooooo many things that I have not had time to take pictures or do videos.  Hopefully, this year, I'll do better (she says tongue-in-cheek).

Some jewelry, caps, shawls, and an embroidered, personalized baby blanket have all gotten by without pics.

Instead of taking individual pics, I have gathered some of the things I have completed and/or am working on and have done a video.

Update on the Sweater!!!

Still working on Christmas presents for the joys in my life.  Finished sweater for granddaughter and a sweater and cap set for a lady who is expecting a grandchild.  Also, finished a prayer shawl for a neighbor undergoing surgery.  Made a couple of birthday cards, with bookmarks - one a crochet cross and the other tatted. 

Still working on my sister's birthday present -- will post when done.

And, lastly, have been tatting - whew!!!

Crochet Sweaters and Tatted Lace

Hi, guys!!!

Have been working on Christmas gifts and "just because" gifts. I am making crochet, knitted, beaded, and button bracelets for the granddaughters and daughters, and embroidered and knitted bracelets for the grandson, son, and nephew.  I am crocheting beanies, slouch beanies, and purses for the granddaughters and daughters.  And for the two youngest granddaughters, they are getting crochet sweaters.  You can see them in the video.

I have also begun to teach a crochet class at the Center, with my ladies.  Can't wait to let you see what they have been working on.

Almost forgot, I still have to complete about a dozen travel pillows as part of the Christmas packages.

Have a couple of birthday cards that still need to be made for the months of November and December and will be working on those this weekend.

I also began teaching myself to tat.  It has been an undertaking, but I am not giving up.  The tatted pieces are so beautiful and I thought it would be nice to make some myself.
