Embroidered Towels

Lately, I have been taking pictures of the items we complete during my crafting time with the Crafty Divas group and my Crocheting Divas at the Senior Center.  So, I just wanted to share some towels that one of the other Crafty Divas did.  This was some GREAT work!!!

Hope you enjoy.  Feel free to leave her some encouraging comments.

I'm Wired Again!!!!

Have been fooling around with wire again.  Here are some of the results.

This gold swirled one was forged with a 16 gauge gold wire.

This petite and delicate one was forged with a 19 gauge copper wire.

Finally, this thumb ring was forged with a 19 gauge copper wire.

The earrings below were made using a 16 gauge silver wire which was wrapped with a 28 gauge silver wire.

Still learning to work with wire, but thought I would share these pieces with you.

Any comments?

Crochet Diva Showing Off Her Rose Garden

Who says you're limited by age???!!  Look at the BEAUTIFUL multi-colored rose afghan (the first one) that was worked up by one of the ladies at the Senior Center.  This beauty is 67" x 59".  You must agree that it is fantastic!!!!  Feel free to leave comments that I can pass on to her to keep her encouraged in her crocheting efforts.

The second one is mine.  It is 80" x 56".

We both used four colors for our roses, but they were different colors.  Also, we each used a different technique to put out afghans together.

My crocheting seniors are outstanding!!!  They continue to amaze and delight me.

Hope you enjoyed.

Beaded Ring-Bracelet Sets

Here is my beaded ring-bracelet sets (originally known as slave bracelets).  The ring is put on first, then the bracelet.  It lays across the top of the hand, and is very becoming.

The first is a beaded set, with matching necklace and earrings.

The second set has matching ring-bracelet and necklace, with drop earrings.

Hope you enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions.

A Birthday for Pearls!!! and Balloons!! - Oh My!!

Wanted to share the pearl set that I made for my granddaughter for her birthday.  It is a bracelet, necklace, and earrings.

The top of her box is decorated with red glittered balloons, with white ribbons.  There is a matching birthday card which, in the inside, simply says "Happy Birthday".

Following that red and white and balloon theme, I cut out a Happy Birthday balloon, and spelled her name out.

Hope you enjoy!!!  Any questions? Let me know.
