Revived crocheted gingerbread house

About 25 years ago, I crocheted this gingerbread house for our kids for Christmas. I have recently pulled it out and found it to be in disrepair. I have redone the innards and made a new snow roof under the old one, for some impact. I believe it came out great. I am sure the grands will love it. Here's a picture for you guys.

Let it snow!!!

The last time it snowed here was Christmas Day, 2004. That, however, was nothing compared to the beautiful views that God has blessed me to see today. I even got my Christmas postcard all picked out from the photos. Here are just a few of them to share with you. They are mostly views of my backyard, and one from the front door. Enjoy!!! I did (smile)!

The writing is on the wall (and door)

Did a little writing; not sure how clear the pictures are, but have posted them anyway.

More cardmaking

Hi, guys. It's been a busy time of cardmaking (for the past two months or so) for relatives, friends, and RAKs. Some I was able to take pictures of, and some went out without my getting a picture of them.

I embroidered this 12-panel piece as the front of a tote bag. Need to do another 12-panel piece for the back and two 8-panel pieces for each side. Will post that when the bag is totally completed.
Also, finished the purse for my sister for her birthday. It is a raised granny square crochet. This is the second one I have done (my daughter got the other, but did not have a chance to get a picture of it).
In the meantime, I am making some Christmas cards for a friend and making a some for myself to send out. Am also working on some "delicious" treats which I am stamping for family members.
See you all at the next post.

Embroidered a new black purse, and cut "Blessed" for the van. Made another purse, but cannot post it right now because it is for my sister's birthday, and she reads my blogs. Am also working on a cabled sweater, which is really testing my nerve right now. Will get pictures of the others in a bit, but in the meantime, here is a picture of the purse and the back of the van.

Added some sayings to the kitchen walls

-Live well, Love much, Laugh often.

Hello

I know it's been a long time - but life happened. Hopefully, it will not be this long on my next post. I have been busy making cards for birthdays, condolences, and get wells. However, I did not get pictures of them all because I was just churning them out and getting them out.
Also, I have been embroidering a lot. I made an embroidered card for my brother-in-law's birthday (the picture is not that clear). I am also finishing up on a granny square purse that I am making for my sister's BD (picture when done). I even had time to make myself a black bag.
Take a look and let me know what you think.

Didn't want another flat card; so, I made this purse with card inside. What do you think?
I can understand the exhilaration the hymnist felt when he penned "How Great Thou Art". Who can deny the awesomeness and wonders of our God, let alone the wonderful, joyous peace that He brings. Praise Him!!

Good afternoon. As London Tipton would say, "Yeah, me!!!" (It's a Disney thing.) I am loading a picture of an explosion box that I did for my hubby; just thanking him for all he does (he really is a gem). Thanks to Beate Johns at the Scor-Pal site for the tutorial.

On the picture you can also see one of the Oh So Cute Shirts that I made (thanks to Cambria Turnbow at the Scor-Pal site for that tutorial).

The gated card is one that I remember from Sandy Genovese a couple of years ago (with my modifications to make it my own). Notice the box that the shirt is in front of - it was done with the Top Score multiboard. This is absolutely the easiest way to make any kind of box, of any size.

Enjoy!!!!

Learning Curve

Just finished "playing" with the Scor-Pal - very interesting tool; although I still love my Top Score multiboard. Made a very interesting explosion box.

By the way, found the USB cord to the camera and have put on the pictures I promised. Enjoy!

Also, put some pictures on out of my garden. Take some time to "smell the roses" while you are here.

My sister made the cutest pink glycerin soaps in the shape of shoes and purses. I thought it would be a great idea to make some knitted face cloths to go with them. I finished one with a butterfly motif and another with an apple motif. They came out great, but I could not really capture them in a photo (they were light-colored). Will work on trying to get them in print.

Also finished a congratulatory card in an oriental theme. Will post a picture of that at a later time.

In the meantime, I have posted some pictures of afghans and cards that I have made in the past.

Enjoy!!!
